The company announced the improvement is the result of implementing a new system that utilizes super-heated steam technology combined with a heat pump, replacing traditional drying methods.

The enhancement applies to the production of the company's PROMATECT line of fire protection boards. By adopting this new process, Promat is significantly decreasing the carbon footprint associated with its manufacturing operations.
