FM Global has officially announced a new Guinness World Records title for the largest display of fire sprinklers. The record-setting collection, which features 1,007 individual sprinklers, is permanently installed in the lobby of the FM Research Campus in West Glocester, Rhode Island.

The display is not merely a collection but a historical timeline, showcasing the evolution of sprinkler technology from nascent 19th-century devices to the precision-engineered models used today. The company, a global leader in property risk management, uses the display to educate clients and visitors on the technological advancements in fire protection.

"Fire is the costliest and most dangerous risk to commercial property, and automatic sprinklers can be tremendously effective in mitigating it," said Dr. Christopher Wieczorek, staff vice president and senior engineering technical specialist at FM Global. "We celebrate the technology as part of a strategy that includes research, data analysis, practical guidelines and product-approval criteria."

The record was adjudicated on-site in February, with Rhode Island State Fire Marshal Timothy McLaughlin in attendance. The achievement highlights the company's long-standing focus on fire prevention science and product testing.
